Base composition. (1) Stela — main vertical stone with name, dates and portrait. (2) Base (tumba) — horizontal mass at stela base for family information or epitaph. (3) Plinth (cokol) — stone perimeter around the plot. (4) Slab/paving — full granite cover of the plot, simplifies care. (5) Small forms — bench, table for memorial meals.
Sizes. Small: stela 100×60, base, plinth 2×3 m, slab 5–6 m² + bench. Medium: stela 120×80, base, extended plinth, 10–12 m², slab, bench, table. Large/family: stela 150×100+, memorial wall with relatives' names, plinth 4×6 m, 20+ m² slab, mini-garden, benches.
Materials. Typically Absolute Black (84%) or Black Galaxy (12%). Jewish families — Kashmir White or Viscount White. Plinth can be slightly cheaper Tan Brown for contrast.
Lead times. Small 8–12 weeks. Medium 12–16. Large 16–24 (including designer 3D modelling).
Prices. Small $4 000–7 000. Medium $7 000–15 000. Large $15 000–50 000+. Equivalent US $25 000–150 000; Israel $15 000–80 000.
Design. For medium and large we do 3D visualization before work. Family approves, can revise. Final install matches the 3D as closely as possible.
