The Uzbekistan-Ukraine corridor has been restructured since 2022: direct flights from Tashkent to Kyiv or Odesa are not operating. Repatriation goes via third countries — primarily Moldova (Chișinău) or Poland (Warsaw/Rzeszów) with road transport on the final leg.
Route 1: via Chișinău — most practical for southern and central Ukraine. Tashkent-Istanbul-Chișinău (Turkish or FlyOne), then road across the Moldova-Ukraine border. 10–14 days.
Route 2: via Poland — for western Ukraine (Lviv, Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk). Tashkent-Warsaw or Tashkent-Rzeszów (via Istanbul or Frankfurt), then road. 12–16 days. €500–1000 more than Moldova route.
Route 3: via Germany — used less, mainly for families with dual diaspora.
Documents: universal pack + Moldovan or Polish transit documents + Ukrainian receiving documents. Adds 4–6 days.
Cost: $3500–5500 air + $1500–3000 road + $1500–2500 documents = $6500–11000 total.
Timing: 10–16 days depending on route and border situation. We keep relationships with Ukrainian funeral homes and select the best route at time of inquiry.
