A portrait is the most memorable element of a monument. Three main techniques: hand engraving on granite, laser engraving, ceramic photo tile. Each has trade-offs.
Hand engraving on granite: deep, expressive, classic look; 7–14 days; from 250,000 UZS for a 30×40 cm portrait. Depends on the artist and detail (clothing, background).
Laser engraving: precise, fast, repeatable; 3–7 days; from 180,000 UZS for the same size. Good for high-contrast photos; on dark granite looks pencil-like.
Ceramic photo tile: color photo portrait on porcelain; durable (50+ years for good tiles); 5–10 days; from 320,000 UZS. Mounted on a separate plane or embedded.
Photo to choose: clear, large face, no harsh shadows. We can rework background and clothing — but base photo quality is half the result. In short: 180,000–320,000 UZS, 3–14 days. Send the photo — we'll show samples of each technique.
