Granite is the most common monument material in Uzbekistan: resistant to temperature swings, doesn't fade and holds engravings well. Marble looks softer but suffers from acidic rain. Gabbro is dark, dense and premium — usually for high-end stelae.
Timing depends on slab size, engraving complexity, base and pedestal options, and the season (adhesive cures slower in winter). Standard time from order to installation is 3–5 weeks; expedited is from 10 days.
Price is formed by material, finishing (polish, split, bush-hammered), engraving (text, portrait, ornament) and installation. Grave agrees on the sketch, fixes the estimate, and doesn't change it without your approval.
Installation follows our checklist: base prep, waterproofing, level alignment. We guarantee geometry and stability; the work is accepted with a photo report.
In short: a granite monument in Tashkent takes 3–5 weeks, estimate fixed before start. Leave a request with size and preferences — we'll send a sketch and quote.
